Our Community
At Mind Your Music we believe that it is important to develop a sense of community. We hold regular social events, such as our Spring busk, Summer sponsored walk, Summer picnics and Christmas concert and meal. We also have a Whatsapp group chat where our members can post songs and music clips and have music related discussions with each other.
Shows and Concerts
Once or Twice a year we hold concerts with food, where our participants get the chance to perform to friends, family and the public.
Our annual Christmas Show
This is the biggest event of our year. We hold a concert, raffle and hot and cold buffet and give away small gifts. It's a great social occasion and a chance for everyone to perform on stage.
Fundraising Events
There is always a struggle to raise funds, and we have an ongoing crowdfunding campaign at Crowdfunder. We also hold fundraising events such as The Taste of Spain, about four times a year.
Music Festivals
We have put on several one day music festivals including WINTERFEST, SOLSTICEFEST and TEMPLE OF HARMONY.
Sponsored Busk
For the last three years we have held 8-hour non-stop sponsored busks to raise funds for Mind Your Music in Bristol.
Summer music workshops outside
When weather permits, we head to the park for an outside music jam and a picnic.
