The MYM Big Gig 2025
Sun Sep 7th - what went on?
The Big Gig was a vibrant one-day music festival funded by the National Lottery Awards For All scheme, featuring brilliant local bands and lots of music from our two Mind Your Music collectives from Bristol and Frome. We, and the local community, enjoyed a whole day and evening of live music at a beautiful venue - The Southbank Club in Southville Bristol, where we celebrated courage and got together to support our wonderful performers, some of them taking the stage for first time. This event was a chance to uplift and encourage one another. It's exactly the sort of thing we would love to have the chance to do more of! And is a great example of the sort of thing our funding goes towards on top of our regular workshops and subsidied tuition. Making music, making memories, social connections, and warming the heart.

15.00 15.45 - Mind Your Music Collective Bristol (well-loved singalong cover songs performed by our members)
16.-16.45- The goldfinches (soulful art-folk from this Rousing Bristol Indie-folk group, playing quirky, humorous, soulful, eclectic,

18.00 -18.45 Mind Your Music Bristol (well-loved singalong cover songs performed by our members)
19.00-19.30 Bethany Pill / Gerald Rowe (three songs each from two of our Mind Your Music members who have really taken their music to the next stage. A real treat.)
